Log in to Stripe
Visit dashboard.stripe.com and sign in to your Stripe account. If you don't have one yet, sign up for free — it only takes a few minutes and you'll need basic business information.

Navigate to Stripe Connect
Once logged in, look for "Connect" in the left-hand navigation sidebar of your Stripe Dashboard. You can also go directly using the link below.

Click "Get Started" to enable Connect
On the Connect page, you'll see a "Get started" button. Click it to begin the one-time Connect activation process. Stripe will ask a few questions about how you'll use Connect.
💡 Tip: This is a one-time setup. Once enabled, you won't need to do this again.
Choose "Express" accounts when prompted
During the Connect setup, Stripe will ask what type of connected accounts you'll use. Select "Express" accounts. This is the option that DG Fit Invoice uses to link your account.
Complete and save your Connect settings
Follow through the remaining prompts in Stripe's setup flow. You may need to confirm your business type and agree to Stripe's Connect terms. Once done, your Connect feature will be active.
Return to DG Fit Invoice Settings and click "Connect Stripe"
Go back to your DG Fit Invoice Settings page and click the "Connect Stripe" button in the Stripe Payments section. You'll be redirected to Stripe to complete linking your specific account. Once done, your clients can pay invoices directly to you.
Go to Settings💡 Tip: This final step only takes 1–2 minutes and you'll be guided through it by Stripe.
Is Stripe free to use?
Creating a Stripe account is free. Stripe charges a small processing fee per transaction (typically 2.9% + 30¢ for card payments in the US). There are no monthly fees.
Is my banking information safe?
Yes. Stripe is one of the most trusted payment processors in the world, used by millions of businesses. Your banking details are encrypted and never shared with DG Fit Invoice.
Do I need a business bank account?
No. You can use a personal bank account with Stripe to receive payouts. However, a business account is recommended if you operate as an LLC or formal business entity.
How long does it take to get paid?
After a client pays, Stripe typically transfers funds to your bank account within 2 business days. The exact timing depends on your Stripe payout settings.
What if I already have a Stripe account?
Great! You just need to enable "Connect" on your existing Stripe account following the steps above. You don't need to create a new account.
